I installed the latest version of Fireshot, started the trial of the Pro version both in Pale Moon (33.3.1, 64-bit) and Chrome (128.0.6613.138, 64 bits) on French Windows 10.
As a result I noticed that whenever I hit the Print Screen key I get a screenshot opening in Fireshot editor, even when only the desktop is displayed with all windows minimized. How can I control the behavior of the Print Screen key - I found nothing in the various hotkeys settings (which I didn't touch anyway). Bug or feature ? |

Hello, are sure you are using FireShot, and not Screenshot Studio?
If this is still FireShot, in what browser does it cause this problem? __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

Hello,
Thank you for you reply. I just noticed that that I had a "Fireshot desktop" app in the tray. When I exited it, everything went back to normal. And I found the "culprit" (apart from me...) : a checkbox called Enable Desktop captures. It should mention that it redefines the Print Screen key (apart from using the desktop helper). Thank you again for this reply (and the other about PDFs in Pale Moon) |
