Disable screen capture chrome extension for Desktop

Question

I don't ever need or want to load FireShot for Desktop. I just need to capture web pages. Although I can easily exit the program, it starts up again every time I load my browser. Is there any way to disable it or at least prevent it from loading automatically? I REALLY don't want the FireShot icon cluttering up my desktop screen.

I have Windows 10 with FireShot Pro running on FireFox (the latest versions of each).

When you hover the 'S' icon, toolbar appears, right? Just close it, and this icon will be never shown.

Can you please check in the tray for the 'S' icon the option 'Display program toolbar' - this should be off to disable the floating icon.

Yes, it needs to be there unless you switch to Firefox 32bit.
