Can you please make sure you uninstalled the previous version? It looks like you're still using the prev. version. __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

Just to confirm, can you please open Extensions and Themes and make sure there's only one version of FireShot 2.x installed and there's no FireShot v1.x installed? __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

This is slowing down productivity... This worked for me: (1) Go to Firefox Settings => Extensions and Themes => find FireShot and "Remove". (2) Go to Windows Settings => Apps => Iinstalled Apps => Uninstall Fireshot (if there's one) (3) Download a new copy of Fireshot from https://getfireshot.com/download.php (4) Close Firefox (5) Install Fireshot by clicking the file you downloaded (should be fireshot-install-2_1_4.exe) Open Firefox, select the Fireshot extension icon, and click Licensing Info (or the last item in the dropdown menu). |

Hi everyone,
I have the same problem with Firefox 151 on Windows 11 Pro in English. I have the FireShot Pro version, updated from 1.12.18 to 2.1.4.5 with the installer. The 1.12.18 version is removed. The problem only occurs on several pages, for example Obsidian website but not Ankiweb website, with the following functions: "Capture entire page" "Capture visible part" and some elements with "Capture selection / element". Everything works perfectly with Google Chrome Version 148.0.7778.179. As I didn't understand, I asked Google Gemini and had the following answer. Quote:
The Root Cause: CSS Layouts and Scrolling Websites generally handle scrolling in one of two ways, and Firefox struggles with the second one: - Standard Document Scrolling (Works perfectly): On sites like the Anki Docs, the main <body> or <html> of the webpage is what scrolls. Firefox's native screenshot tool (and FireShot for Firefox) looks at the main document, scrolls it down automatically, and stitches the images together. - Internal div Scrolling (Fails in Firefox): Modern web apps and documentation sites (like Obsidian Help and Moodle) often use a fixed-height layout. The webpage itself is locked to the exact height of your screen (100vh), and the scrolling happens inside a specific container block (like a main content pane next to a fixed sidebar). Because the main browser window isn't technically scrolling, Firefox's screenshot engine assumes it has already reached the bottom of the page. It captures the visible area and stops, completely ignoring the fact that there is more content hidden inside that internal container. It worked two days ago on Firefox, so it may also be related to the version 151 update. I tried to use the ctrl+shift+S Firefox capture function, and the problem remained the same: I was unable to save a full page on the Obsidian website. I hope this helps clarify the problem. Have a great day |

Hi and thank you for your help JK,
v.2.1.4.15 seems to have solved the problem indeed. How can I keep the versions up-to-date both on Firefox and Chrome? I downloaded the installer yesterday from https://getfireshot.com/download.php and was on version v.2.1.4.5. Have a great day. |

| My situation with firefox also. Some pages it will capture but my primary site :https://www.perplexity.ai/ it will not work at when trying to capture a page in spaces. The home page works but when content is there it will not work ,it just hangs. Is there a way to roll back the installed version 1 or 2 releases to try that ? Thanks | ||
