I installed Fireshot, but there were no instructions on how to even begin! And I can't find anything on the site.
Can someone please direct me to a Help page or at least how I activate this extension? Thanks! K |

Hi,
make sure you've checked the demo: https://screenshot-program.com/fireshot/demo.php __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

Thanks! (though I wish it were a bit slower or there were more thorough docs). I also suggest making it more obvious for new users (Demo doesn't imply to me a place where I can necessarily learn how to use the product as much as a marketing tool). |

The initial post highlights the problem with both Fireshot and Screenshot Studio. Great ideas, poor execution. Fireshot has no options that would allow it to be customized. Just try to figure out how to associate it with a different editor than the default paint. And Studio is no better. Once an image is captured, where is it saved??? There is no option for setting the default directory and, if it exists, it is not in the options menu.
Add to that the problem that Fireshot tends to lock up my Firefox installation and will not open into an email program as it says it will and I would suggest that folks look elsewhere for other programs that do this job without all the glitches. |

I have been using v.22 and there is no options box in my installation. Moreover, having the image in RAM is fine, but I get no option to save it anywhere. In other words, I should get a popup dialog asking me where to save the image, but I don't.
It is pretty clear that this is just not working the way it is supposed to. I appreciate your assistance, and I hope future versions will clear out the bugs. Good luck. |

Can you please look at the demo and say what is going differently in your case? For example, "the 'S' icon isn't displayed; when image is captured, no editor displayed; the editor doesn't have main toolbar; etc...". Some screenshots will be also appreciated. Please also specify your FX configuration.
Thanks for your assistance. __________________ FireShot Pro Pro Full Webpage Screenshots will be moving to a subscription model soon!

I don't have much to tell you. The problems are so numerous and varied that there is no pattern.
There are no options available in the Add-ins menu. Sometimes when I try to activate it through the context menu absolutely nothing happens. Other times, nothing appears to happen but it locks up Firefox and I have to restart the application. It NEVER will open an email when I try to send a screenshot directly to email (I use Outlook 2007). Sometimes it will edit in Paint, other times no editor opens. Sometimes it will save correctly, other times save does not opearate. This is basically the same with all the features. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and got the same behavior. |
